Spectators: 5006 (Terracing: 4006, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicolas Melo got the match started through his kick off. If Beto Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Brasil's Leonel Brion slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dedê Vidal. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Dedê Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Brion in the 8th minute of play. Brasil's attentive Beto Medeiros managed to snatch the ball when Léo de Brito made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. In the 13th minute Leonel Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Enrique Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Beto Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brasil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dedê Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Brion in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Brasil booed when Coritiba Crocodiles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedê Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Coritiba Crocodiles's Dedê Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Brion in the 31st minute of play. If Nicolas Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Coritiba Crocodiles's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Medeiros came free, but Dedê Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedê Vidal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonel Brion showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. Coritiba Crocodiles's Dedê Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Brion in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Brasil's João Vítor Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dedê Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Coritiba Crocodiles's Nicolas Melo got a free kick in the 45th minute. João Vítor Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Vidal having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Brion was the one to do the kick off. If João Vítor Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedê Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Vítor Mota went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Beto Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dedê Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Brion in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedê Vidal saved Coritiba Crocodiles from getting behind. Elói Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dedê Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Brasil's Leonel Brion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedê Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Ronaldinho Perez's late challenge caught a Brasil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldinho Perez helped the player get up and apologised. Dedê Vidal came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Brasil's Beto Medeiros. But to his dismay, Beto Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Elói Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Vítor Mota struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dedê Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasil. In the 83rd minute, Leonel Brion made a precise shot to the right of Dedê Vidal. Coritiba Crocodiles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 86 minutes, Leonel Brion made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Coritiba Crocodiles's Dedê Vidal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Brion in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedê Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Medeiros in the 93rd minute of play forced Coritiba Crocodiles's goalkeeper Dedê Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
