In the 3rd match minute, Estulandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Vianna struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Alfredão Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amorim. 9 minutes into the game, Estulandia's Oséas Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valério Goiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 14th minute Jefferson Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Amorim got a freekick which was hit by Renan Leite. Carlos Eduardo Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Paulista having to interfere. Thiago Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thiago Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valério Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thiago Maranhense went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Ronaldo Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 49 minutes of play, Estulandia's Oséas Aguiar made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valério Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Estulandia were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thiago Maranhense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Amorim's Renan Leite got a free kick in the 54th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Valério Goiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Paiva in the 62nd minute of play forced Estulandia's goalkeeper Alfredão Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Eduardo Paiva in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredão Paulista saved Estulandia from getting behind. Alfredão Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Vianna in the 66th minute of the match. Amorim's Carlos Eduardo Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jefferson Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Thiago Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredão Paulista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Eduardo Paiva's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jefferson Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alfredão Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Oséas Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estulandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséas Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Estulandia's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Vianna came free, but Alfredão Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Amorim's Carlos Eduardo Paiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredão Paulista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jefferson Vianna scored 3-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredão Paulista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
