Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Caetano de Souza got the match started through his kick off. Allan Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 4 minutes, Luisinho Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AtalaiaFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisinho Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th play minute Giovanni Gonçalves came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cafu Teles. 1-0. Cafu Teles made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Giovanni Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Giovanni Gonçalves put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cafu Teles. 19 minutes into the match, Heliopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Senna came free, but Delfim Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Caetano de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Caetano de Souza in the 34th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Giovanni Gonçalves hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of AtalaiaFC booed when Heliopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisinho Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Mendes having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisinho Senna was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Caetano de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heliopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cafu Teles came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Heliopolis's Giovanni Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Giovanni Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Caetano de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cafu Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafu Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano de Souza went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Heliopolis's Giovanni Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Luiz Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. AtalaiaFC's Cafu Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Gonçalves in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Dário Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AtalaiaFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heliopolis the free kick. The supporters of Heliopolis booed when AtalaiaFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cafu Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Caetano de Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cafu Teles. AtalaiaFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano de Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Caetano de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Cafu Teles. AtalaiaFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. 96 minutes into the game, Hílton Rosado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AtalaiaFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heliopolis the free kick. In the 96th match minute, AtalaiaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Rosado to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Heliopolis players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
