An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Albuquerque in the 5th minute of play forced Sport Club Baid's goalkeeper Samuel Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu Senna got a throw-in 6 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luís Eduardo Marinho. If Egídio da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10thth minute of the game Ulryk Juroszek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarani FC's João Augusto de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnaldo Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Gilberto Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes Sport Club Baid got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Viana. 21 minutes into the match, Sport Club Baid's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Albuquerque came free, but Samuel Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Eduardo Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Sport Club Baid's Ulryk Juroszek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Augusto de Azevedo. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Samuel Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Albuquerque in the 30th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Sport Club Baid got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Vale. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Arnaldo Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarani FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Guarani FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Arnaldo Dante hit a great ball. Guarani FC's João Augusto de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Juroszek in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Dante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sport Club Baid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Arnaldo Dante scored to the left of an out of position Samuel Carvalho, making the score, 1-1. Samuel Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino Matos in the 62nd minute. Arnaldo Dante scored 2-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Guarani FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gilson Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guarani FC's goalkeeper João Augusto de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ulryk Juroszek took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto de Azevedo. João Augusto de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Sport Club Baid's Samuel Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Dante in the 84th minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Ulryk Juroszek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarani FC's João Augusto de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulryk Juroszek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto de Azevedo having to interfere. The Sport Club Baid fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guarani FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
