Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiago França started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes in the game, Tiago França fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benedito Bittencourt having to interfere. Eriberto Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luan Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Altair SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luan Bertassi couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Altair SC's Benedito Bittencourt got control of the ball when David do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. David do Valle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Benedito Bittencourt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eriberto Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Negri having to interfere. Luan Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Falcão Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Altair SC's Benedito Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago França in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cido Domingues during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Altair SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Pedro Augusto de Amorim placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Eriberto Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Altair SC's Luan Bertassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falcão Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Tiago França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Matos's late challenge caught a Altair SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Matos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Cunhaporanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Matos to maneuver through the defense. Luan Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Pedro Augusto de Amorim sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Altair SC's Benedito Bittencourt didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Altair SC defense, David do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedito Bittencourt. The Altair SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedito Bittencourt should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Tiago França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David do Valle in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedito Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 minutes, Manfredo Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altair SC and the Cunhaporanga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manfredo Vale hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71stth minute of the game David do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altair SC's Benedito Bittencourt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benedito Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cunhaporanga's David do Valle. But to his dismay, David do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 76 minutes into the game, Ernesto da Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cunhaporanga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altair SC the free kick. In the 76th minute, Ernesto da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Eriberto Fernandez could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Falcão Negri however easily saved by the left post. Benedito Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Altair SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo Vale to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cunhaporanga booed when Altair SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes Altair SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Augusto de Amorim who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Pedro Augusto de Amorim got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benedito Bittencourt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 88th minute Tiago França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cunhaporanga's goalkeeper Falcão Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ernesto da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Cunhaporanga's goalkeeper Falcão Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto Fernandez. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cunhaporanga fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altair SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
