Doni Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Paulinho Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doni Vasconcelos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Operário Esporte Clube's Fábio Garcia got a free kick in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Operário Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Terra came free, but Doni Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho de Alcântara in the 36th minute of play forced Operário Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Doni Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Mangunca EC's Paulinho Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doni Vasconcelos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Doni Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho de Alcântara in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mangunca EC's Wilian Peres got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Fábio Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Operário Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mangunca EC the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Operário Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Garcia to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Operário Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Quadros came free, but Doni Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinaldo da Silva took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni Vasconcelos. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toninho Dionísio to make the kick off. Doni Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Toninho Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anísio Bertassi having to interfere. With a little luck, Operário Esporte Clube's Doni Vasconcelos got control of the ball when Paulinho Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Operário Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Doni Vasconcelos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from André Luís Quadros. Paulinho Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Doni Vasconcelos made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Paulinho Terra notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Operário Esporte Clube's Doni Vasconcelos. Doni Vasconcelos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anísio Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toninho Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aírton Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doni Vasconcelos was a little too slow when Paulinho Terra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-6. 90 minutes into the game, Cesinha do Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mangunca EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Operário Esporte Clube the free kick. Cesinha do Nascimento hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Operário Esporte Clube's Toninho Dionísio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anísio Bertassi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laerte Trancoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anísio Bertassi. Mangunca EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match was over Mangunca EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Operário Esporte Clube throughout the match.
