Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Glauco Matorin started the match with the kick off. If Amauri Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovanni Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osmar Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Seival's Glauco Matorin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Glauco Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ameliopolis's Giovanni Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Matorin in the 32nd minute of play. Amauri Paulista took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni Reis. Giovanni Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Seival booed when Ameliopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glauco Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Giovanni Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovanni Reis was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Glauco Matorin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Glauco Matorin really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Ameliopolis's Giovanni Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Matorin in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Francisco de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giovanni Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paulo Madureira in the 53rd minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Osmar Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Madureira having to interfere. Ameliopolis's Osmar Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agnaldo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco de Azevedo in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seival's goalkeeper Agnaldo Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amauri Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Francisco de Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agnaldo Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Francisco de Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Seival's Amauri Paulista in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ameliopolis's goalie prevented a goal.
