Gilvan Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Britto was slow to take the kick. During this time Cuma FC's players had a chance to rest. Gilvan Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Madragoa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Gerber came free, but Gilvan Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Jânio Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Madragoa FC's Gilvan Maranhense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilvan Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Jânio Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Cuma FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Gerber couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Zé Pedro Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilvan Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cuma FC had played much better football throughout.
