Raí Paiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Renan de Castro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Raí Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Junior fresh prince FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raí Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Marquinhos Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan de Castro was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After 26 minutes, Frederico Rezende mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itapoan FC and the Junior fresh prince FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Cícero Alcântara scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Itapoan FC's Frederico Rezende got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 70 played minutes Itapoan FC got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Moreira. In the 76th minute, Cícero Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Junior fresh prince FC's Marcelo Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Junior fresh prince FC from getting a goal against them. If Raí Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Renan de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Paiva in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Itapoan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Cícero Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcelo Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Itapoan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raí Paiva came free, but Renan de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Junior fresh prince FC had played much better football throughout.
