Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 7th minute of the match, Enio Braga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adhemar Xavier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 10 minutes into the game, Edmílson de Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fonceca FC the free kick. Edmílson de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Enio Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Fonceca FC booed when Mandim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enio Braga got free with Adhemar Xavier in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remo Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Xavier having to interfere. Robinho Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Adhemar Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enio Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Enio Braga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Adhemar Xavier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enio Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Adhemar Xavier made a huge save. Enio Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Xavier having to interfere. Adhemar Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Toledo in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Enio Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fonceca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enio Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Fonceca FC booed when Mandim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Fonceca FC's Robinho Toledo got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Enio Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fonceca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Enio Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Robinho Toledo made the kick off in the second half. Adhemar Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Toledo in the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Robinho Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Adhemar Xavier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enio Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Braga in the 97th minute of play forced Mandim FC's goalkeeper Adhemar Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fonceca FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
