The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jubilados do Mangue FC! A collision led to Paranavai AL getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mauro Prado hit a great ball. When Jubilados do Mangue FC's Alfredão Machado in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paranavai AL's goalie prevented a goal. Renato da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Edgar Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Jubilados do Mangue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Zanette couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Mauro Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliézer Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão Machado in the 34th minute of play. Alfredão Machado struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Eliézer Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jubilados do Mangue FC. Aloísio Motta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliézer Fantini having to make a save. Aloísio Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eliézer Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Paranavai AL's Mauro Prado got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Emanuel Seco made a precise shot to the right of Eliézer Fantini. Paranavai AL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

Emanuel Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eliézer Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Fantini having to interfere. Jubilados do Mangue FC's Silas França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Cearense in the 68th minute of play. Emanuel Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eliézer Fantini could save by the left post. Victor Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas França having to interfere. Silas França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aloísio Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aloísio Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eliézer Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jubilados do Mangue FC's Emanuel Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Alfredão Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliézer Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 93rd minute, Paranavai AL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emanuel Seco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 94thth minute of the game Alfredão Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paranavai AL's Eliézer Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jubilados do Mangue FC played a much better game than Paranavai AL and deserved their victory. The Paranavai AL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
