Spectators: 6890 (Terracing: 5388, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 2) Jano Almeida started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mala.fc's Dorian Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Galvão in the 3rd minute of play. Dorian Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toninho Galvão's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Toninho Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Válbson Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Fausto Mota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mala.fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chinesa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mala.fc's Fausto Mota got a free kick in the 10th minute. Válbson Donato struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Dorian Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chinesa. Chinesa's Válbson Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorian Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toninho Galvão went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 23 played minutes Chinesa got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Damião. Tarcisio Saldanhas short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Enéas Quirino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Mala.fc defense, Válbson Donato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorian Barral. The Mala.fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian Barral should have stopped the shot. Enéas Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorian Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Donato in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Almeida in the 43rd minute of play forced Chinesa's goalkeeper Enéas Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Chinesa were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Toninho Galvão made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Toninho Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toninho Galvão was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Chinesa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Mala.fc's Dorian Barral got control of the ball when Válbson Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Chinesa's Válbson Donato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorian Barral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mala.fc's Fausto Mota got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Fausto Mota off the ground. The supporters of Chinesa booed when Mala.fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toninho Galvão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorian Barral having to make a save. After having played for 68 minutes, Válbson Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinesa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chinesa getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Evandro Damião hit a great ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Tarcisio Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chinesa's Enéas Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Mala.fc's Dorian Barral got control of the ball when Válbson Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chinesa's Toninho Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Mala.fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian Barral should have stopped the shot. Chinesa played a much better game than Mala.fc and deserved their victory. The Mala.fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
