Spectators: 6876 (Terracing: 5374, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 2) Mala.fc's Jano Almeida started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 minutes, Válbson Matos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mala.fc's Dorian Barral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute Jorge Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorian Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Vito Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorian Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Hélio Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mala.fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Celtic Futebol Clube the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jorge Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celtic Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jano Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Pitta having to interfere. Jorge Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dorian Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Sampaio to make the kick off. If Jorge Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jano Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Pedro Pitta was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Mala.fc's Jano Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mala.fc's Fausto Mota got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Chicão Cearense might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorian Barral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chicão Cearense ran back to his position shaking his head. Zé Pedro Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Almeida in the 78th minute of play. Dorian Barral came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Celtic Futebol Clube's Jorge Sampaio. But to his dismay, Jorge Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mala.fc's Tarcisio Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tarcisio Saldanha scored 1-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Pedro Pitta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Celtic Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
