Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Pires started the match with the kick off. Durvalino Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zézinho Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Fonseca in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Fernando Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Zézinho Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siupe EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zézinho Arósio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Durvalino Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Palmeira. Moiboada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Durvalino Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st minute, Durvalino Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Palmeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Siupe EC's zone, Washington de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elder de Queiroz came out of the goal and Washington de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moiboada's goalkeeper Tiago Palmeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiago Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Moiboada's Tiago Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Arósio in the 40th minute of play. After 43 minutes, Dalmo Trancoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Siupe EC and the Moiboada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dalmo Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Zeca Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Moiboada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeca Hermes couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zézinho Arósio was the one to do the kick off. Zézinho Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Palmeira having to interfere. Zézinho Arósio struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Tiago Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Siupe EC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zézinho Arósio in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Palmeira saved Moiboada from getting behind. Tiago Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Arósio in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Moiboada's goalkeeper Tiago Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho Arósio. Elder de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Moiboada's zone, Zézinho Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Palmeira came out of the goal and Zézinho Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Durvalino Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zézinho Arósio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Tiago Palmeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Moiboada defense, Zézinho Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Palmeira. The Moiboada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Palmeira should have stopped the shot. Tiago Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Zézinho Arósio sent off a good shot on target. Douglas Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglas Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Siupe EC's Douglas Ramos got a free kick in the 80th minute. Zézinho Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zézinho Arósio in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiago Palmeira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zézinho Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Palmeira having to interfere. When Durvalino Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Siupe EC fans jumped to their feet. Zézinho Arósios short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Tiago Palmeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Moiboada's zone, Manfredo Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Palmeira came out of the goal and Manfredo Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Siupe EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Moiboada.
