Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hamílton Coelho kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Hamílton Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Gomaticum AD's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Coelho came free, but Tostão Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristóvão Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Urbano in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gomaticum AD's Valério Domingues got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of Marcos Freire III booed when Gomaticum AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Freire III's Hamílton Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Gomaticum AD's Vito Abraão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristóvão Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hamílton Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Cardoso having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Gomaticum AD's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Nunes came free, but Tostão Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeu Camargo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristóvão Arantes. Cristóvão Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Hamílton Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Cardoso having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Gomaticum AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Tostão Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Nunes's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When Narciso Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gomaticum AD's protests and gave Narciso Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gomaticum AD! The goalkeeper, Tostão Cardoso, was totally fooled by Marcos Freire III's Hamílton Coelho, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 44 played minutes Marcos Freire III got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Guimarães. In the 46th match minute, Marcos Freire III was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Travassos to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vito Abraão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Amaral in the 51st minute of play forced Marcos Freire III's goalkeeper Cristóvão Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamílton Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovani Lima hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Hamílton Coelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tostão Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Hamílton Coelho took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tostão Cardoso. Tostão Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 64th minute of the match Vinícius Pontes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tostão Cardoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th match minute, Gomaticum AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Veloso to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Vito Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Camargo took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristóvão Arantes. Cristóvão Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Cristóvão Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Abraão in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Travassos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tostão Cardoso. Gomaticum AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo Travassos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Tostão Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Amadeu Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cristóvão Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Amadeu Camargo could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Cristóvão Arantes however easily saved by the left post. After 90 minutes of play, Gomaticum AD's Andrézinho Urbano made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristóvão Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the game, Gomaticum AD's Amadeu Camargo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristóvão Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-6. Gomaticum AD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
