João Augusto Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Pirani in the 10th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Roger de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Binga AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aiuruoca the free kick. In the 10th minute, Roger de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, one of Binga AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Aiuruoca. Genílson Dantas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving João Augusto Dantas. 0-1. 18 minutes in the game, Rui Paiva fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bebeto Vinhas having to interfere. Binga AD's Jacinto Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacinto Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bebeto Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Binga AD's Jacinto Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Jacinto Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Binga AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bebeto Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Jacinto in the 39th minute of play. Bebeto Vinhas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Carvalho in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Erivaldo Jacinto made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aiuruoca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexsandro Messias was slow to take the kick. During this time Binga AD's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Binga AD's corner Alexsandro Messias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bebeto Vinhas quite easily take care of the ball. João Augusto Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Erivaldo Jacinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bebeto Vinhas having to make a save. Gerson Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Bebeto Vinhas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Binga AD. With a little luck, Binga AD's João Augusto Dantas got control of the ball when Bebeto Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Augusto Dantas was a little too slow when Francisco Arósio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-4. If Gerson Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Binga AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aiuruoca's performance. The match ended with a win for Aiuruoca.
