After 13 minutes, Marcinho Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fox Machine and the Yuri Sport Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute of the match Vicente Barreto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reginaldo de Salles skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Yuri Sport Club booed when Fox Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cauan Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hudson Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Sousa having to interfere. Waldemar Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Reginaldo de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hudson Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Enio Carvalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomé Sousa. Enio Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Waldemar Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cauan Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcinho Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Yuri Sport Club's Waldemar Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enio Carvalho made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Hudson Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fox Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Hudson Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fox Machine's Reginaldo de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Mandrak in the 63rd minute of play. Baltazar Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Waldemar Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginaldo de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Cauan Vergílio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fox Machine's Reginaldo de Salles. Reginaldo de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Fox Machine's Enio Carvalho in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Reginaldo de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Yuri Sport Club defense, Hudson Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomé Sousa. The Yuri Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomé Sousa should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute Hudson Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudson Cabral scored 3-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomé Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yuri Sport Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fox Machine.
