Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edinho de Queiroz made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Clemente Félix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaboticabas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Armando Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho de Queiroz in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Erik Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Jaboticabas's goalkeeper Armando Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdemar Santos. In the 18th minute of the match, André Luís Fernandez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Armando Massa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 21 played minutes Jaboticabas got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Félix. André Luís Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Armando Massa made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by André Luís Fernandez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. André Luís Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Armando Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, André Luís Fernandez made a precise shot to the right of Armando Massa. Jaboticabas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 36 minutes into the game, Benjamin Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redoval AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaboticabas the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca de Brito in the 38th minute of play forced Redoval AD's goalkeeper Juvenal Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaboticabas's goalkeeper Armando Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Luís Fernandez in the 49th minute. The Redoval AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jaboticabas were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeca de Brito was the one to do the kick off. 1-3 became the score in the 53rd minute when Erik Hoffmann elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. André Luís Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Massa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. It was Silvinho Moura who took care of the corner kick. 97 minutes into the match, Redoval AD's goalkeeper Juvenal Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Hoffmann. Redoval AD were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jaboticabas for a fine match.
