Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jucurutu EC's Túlio Carioca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jarbas Amaral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Paulinho de Amaral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 6 minutes into the match, Jucurutu EC's Gildo Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manfredo Mineiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute Valdir Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Túlio Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jucurutu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Filipe Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Matos in the 13th minute of play forced Camiranga's goalkeeper Manfredo Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarbas Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Paulinho de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Túlio Carioca made a precise shot to the right of Manfredo Mineiro. Camiranga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Túlio Carioca notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Camiranga's Manfredo Mineiro. Manfredo Mineiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Camiranga booed when Jucurutu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Valdir Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Jucurutu EC's goalkeeper Paulinho de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarbas Amaral. 46 minutes into the match, Gildo Matos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Camiranga's Manfredo Mineiro. Manfredo Mineiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdir Cunha to make the kick off. Gildo Matos in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manfredo Mineiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edson Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edson Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manfredo Mineiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th match minute, Camiranga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luiz Lucas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jucurutu EC's Paulinho de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Cunha in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Camiranga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Gildo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Mineiro having to interfere. The Camiranga supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jucurutu EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Jucurutu EC.
