Spectators: 7208 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Roberto Batista started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Acungui's Ulisses Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Zé Roberto Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Branco having to interfere. Abelardo Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naldo Branco made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Zé Roberto Batista sent off a good shot on target. The excitement rose when Acungui's Elói Queiroz after 23 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for São Sebastião FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. São Sebastião FC's Zé Roberto Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Zé Roberto Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naldo Branco was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Geraldo Moreno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Naldo Branco. The goal made the score 1-1. Naldo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Roberto Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Naldo Branco made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as São Sebastião FC's Abelardo Correia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Naldo Branco. That made the score 2-1 after 41 minutes of play. After 44 played minutes Acungui got a freekick which was hit by Cássio dos Santos. After having played for 45 minutes, Abelardo Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Sebastião FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulisses Vasconcelos made a kick off. After 53rd play minutes Zé Roberto Batista shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Naldo Branco and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Acungui's Raphael Silva got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience held their breath when Cauã Rocha in the 57th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Naldo Branco's left hand side. Elói Queiroz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Zé Roberto Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naldo Branco was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Zé Roberto Batista struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Naldo Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Sebastião FC. Abelardo Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zé Roberto Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Zé Roberto Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naldo Branco was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Abelardo Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Zé Roberto Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naldo Branco. Acungui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Roberto Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Geraldo Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Roberto Batista hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Cauã Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes of play, São Sebastião FC's Zé Roberto Batista made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that São Sebastião FC were the better team. São Sebastião FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
