Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Uainiame SS's Armando Tande started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Samuel Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luiz Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Proença in the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Uainiame SS's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Araújo came free, but Pedro Luiz Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlético Paraense's Deivid Pereira got a free kick in the 13th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Uainiame SS's Zé Roberto Silveira tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Samuel Araújo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luiz Couto. Pedro Luiz Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 26th minute Yuri Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuri Proença scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luiz Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Couto having to interfere. Armando Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Yuri Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Paraense's zone, Armando Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestoras Silić came out of the goal and Armando Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yuri Proença to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Yuri Proença's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Luiz Couto was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Nestoras Silić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Armando Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Yuri Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Proença in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Uainiame SS getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dagoberto Carneiro hit a great ball. Samuel Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Samuel Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute Yuri Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Paraense booed when Uainiame SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes Uainiame SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Gustavo Sanches who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Samuel Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Paraense's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Atlético Paraense supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético Paraense would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
