When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Luiz Mangueira made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Soledad's zone, Marcelinho Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matheus Nogueira came out of the goal and Marcelinho Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Marcelinho Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Mangueira in the 58th minute of play forced Soledad's goalkeeper Matheus Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Gino da Costa in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético Paulista's Benjamin Coelho. Pedro Luiz Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Soledad's Ivo Sarmento got a free kick in the 67th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Marcelinho Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matheus Nogueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Soledad's zone, Marcelinho Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matheus Nogueira came out of the goal and Marcelinho Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelinho Schmidt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matheus Nogueira came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelinho Schmidt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Donato Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cauã Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Nogueira having to interfere. Marcelinho Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pedro Luiz Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Atlético Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luiz Mangueira couldn't finish the play. The Soledad fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético Paulista were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
