The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th match minute, Guaiquica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Romário de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Teixeira having to interfere. If Luiz Fábio Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho Santana notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of HELLOWEEN666's Arí Pinho. Arí Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arí Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Santana in the 34th minute of the match. Luiz Fábio Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Maicon Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaiquica's Aírton Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arí Pinho. HELLOWEEN666's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiaguinho Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of HELLOWEEN666 booed when Guaiquica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romário de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maicon Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Luciano Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Romário de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. HELLOWEEN666's supporters rose to their feet, but Romário de Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Despite being the better team, HELLOWEEN666 failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
