Rogério Corrêa hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Polly Penguin's zone, Ediberto Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Fernandez came out of the goal and Ediberto Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Cabral in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Simão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateus Fernandez came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Eagles Fotbol Club's Manfredo Varela. But to his dismay, Manfredo Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ediberto Travassos struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Mateus Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eagles Fotbol Club. After 28 minutes, Zézinho Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eagles Fotbol Club and the Polly Penguin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zézinho Mandrak hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Miguel Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Moura in the 29th minute of the match. Ediberto Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelinho Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Miguel Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediberto Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Fernandez having to interfere. The wind increased when Nuno Cabral made the kick off in the second half. Marcelinho Moura who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Miguel Simão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Miguel Simão made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Marcelinho Moura sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Cabral struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. The supporters of Eagles Fotbol Club booed when Polly Penguin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Eagles Fotbol Club had won after a very even match.
