Valdemar Britto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. FC Inter United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Valdemar Britto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Alberto Martins was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Zé Pedro Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luiz Fábio Sena fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored caixa 2's protests and gave Luiz Fábio Sena a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, caixa 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Sena to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Valdemar Britto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Alberto Martins, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar Leal in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Furlan saved FC Inter United from getting behind. Marcinho Moreno struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rodrigo Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for caixa 2. If Enio Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Renatinho Pimenta fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored caixa 2's protests and gave Renatinho Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead. Renatinho Pimenta hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Zé Pedro Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Britto in the 35th minute of play forced caixa 2's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Alberto Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdemar Britto's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Amadeu Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. caixa 2's Carlos Alberto Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Britto in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Rodrigo Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. caixa 2's Armando Vidal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodrigo Furlan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Alberto Martins came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Inter United's Valdemar Britto. But to his dismay, Valdemar Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Valdemar Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes, caixa 2's Armando Vidal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigo Furlan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in caixa 2 reached it. Rodrigo Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Moreno in the 86th minute of play. Amadeu Furtado struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Carlos Alberto Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Inter United. In the 98th minute, Valdemar Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the FC Inter United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
