In the 21stth minute of the game Durvalino da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Davinopolis EC's Diego Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Desejo SC's Umberto Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Tasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Desejo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Macedo came free, but Zézinho de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Gernando Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Durvalino da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
