Dagoberto Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Botelho in the 3rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Eriberto Botelho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dagoberto Coutinho. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. A hard shot 7 in the game by Flávio de Andrade from a close distance when the talented Dagoberto Coutinho managed to make a qualified save. ESTRELA AZUL's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in ESTRELA AZUL's zone, Eriberto Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Coutinho came out of the goal and Eriberto Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 12 minutes on the clock, Conrado Vasconcelos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 11th minute, one of ESTRELA AZUL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ESTRELA AZUL. ESTRELA AZUL's Dagoberto Coutinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save ESTRELA AZUL from getting a goal against them. A collision led to ESTRELA AZUL getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eliézer Rodrigues hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Silas Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eriberto Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Rochoso SS got a freekick which was hit by Flávio de Andrade. Dagoberto Coutinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eriberto Botelho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Dagoberto Coutinho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dagoberto Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dagoberto Coutinho having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Silas Bittencourt notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of ESTRELA AZUL's Dagoberto Coutinho. Dagoberto Coutinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Eriberto Botelho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dagoberto Coutinho, passed just outside the right post. Dagoberto Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Botelho in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match, Eriberto Botelho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dagoberto Coutinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 48th minute, but Dagoberto Coutinho got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving ESTRELA AZUL hanging dry this time. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dagoberto Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Bittencourt in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Silas Bittencourt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dagoberto Coutinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eriberto Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Silas Bittencourt sped through ESTRELA AZUL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dagoberto Coutinho. In the 79th minute Eriberto Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, ESTRELA AZUL's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio de Andrade came free, but Dagoberto Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silas Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dagoberto Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dagoberto Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Bittencourt in the 89th minute of play. Rochoso SS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
