If Marcel Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Itapissuma's Wilton Meira in 24 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ian Silva guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ian Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Marcel Favorettos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Ian Silva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lenílson Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lenílson Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Lenílson Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Marcel Favoretto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wilton Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ian Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Álvaro Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Adidas City FC got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Dias. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Wilton Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapissuma's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Roberto Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Iuri de Castro made a huge save. Zé Roberto Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Iuri de Castro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Roberto Silva got free with Iuri de Castro in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Adidas City FC defense, Marcel Favoretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Silva. The Adidas City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Silva should have stopped the shot. Clemente Guedes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ian Silva. Adidas City FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 72 played minutes Itapissuma got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Favoretto. Adidas City FC's Ian Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Favoretto in the 75th minute of play. Wilton Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Álvaro Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri de Castro having to interfere. A collision led to Adidas City FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jonas Correia hit a great ball. Ian Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Meira in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Isaltino Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapissuma's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ian Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Favoretto in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Itapissuma fully deserved thier win.
