The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Delfim Macedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. André Vinhas came out and tried to block the shot, but Delfim Macedo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. André Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Magalhães in the 7th minute of the match. Baltazar Magalhães was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Shot's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Nelson Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th play minute Nelson Teles came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised André Vinhas. 2-0. After 22 played minutes Marretas got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando do Nascimento. André Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Magalhães in the 25th minute of play. Marretas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Baltazar Magalhães scored to the left of an out of position André Vinhas, making the score, 3-0. Nelson Teles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, André Vinhas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an all-out effort, Shot's André Vinhas threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baltazar Magalhães, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Magalhães in the 35th minute of play forced Marretas's goalkeeper André Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Marretas got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Mazza. Nelson Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. André Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Delfim Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shot's protests and gave Delfim Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Shot getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Delfim Macedo hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Shot's Baltazar Magalhães slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Vinhas. That made the score 4-0 after 45 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltazar Magalhães to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Marretas's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês da Cunha came free, but André Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes of play, Shot's Baltazar Magalhães made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Nelson Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamim Amaral hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Nelson Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marretas's goalkeeper André Vinhas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Marretas's zone, Baltazar Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Vinhas came out of the goal and Baltazar Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Nelson Teles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Vinhas was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Nelson Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltazar Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Vinhas having to interfere. Baltazar Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marretas's André Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Teles in the 85th minute of play. Nelson Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Vinhas having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Magalhães in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Vinhas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, Marretas's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Teles came free, but André Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Benjamim Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Shot fully deserved thier win.
