After having played for 43 minutes, Vito de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crisolia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 48 played minutes, Herculandia SC's Nicolas Palmeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfredão Penha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Herculandia SC reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Luiz Gustavo Arantes made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Herculandia SC's goalkeeper Luizão Zonta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Luiz Gustavo Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizão Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Neivas short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Alfredão Penha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alfredão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Paes in the 83rd minute of play. Luizão Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito de Queirós in the 85th minute of the match. Luiz Gustavo Arantes scored 2-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizão Zonta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Crisolia's Vito de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luizão Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito de Queirós in the 96th minute of the match. Crisolia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
