Mondahy SS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. World Soccer FC's Jörn Stallberg managed to work through Mondahy SS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jörn Stallberg dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Mauro Carioca was a little too slow when Jörn Stallberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-2. When Reinaldo Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Lorenzo Gora's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mauro Carioca firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Mondahy SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. World Soccer FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
