Rocas SS's Germano Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Abreu in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio Fernandez got free with Germano Costa in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germano Costa made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sérgio Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guilherme Barbosa during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Guilherme Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gino Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino Veiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeu Vidal having to make a save. In the 17th minute Adelino Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guimarães FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gino Vergílio was slow to take the kick. During this time Rocas SS's players had a chance to rest. Gino Vergílio made a great header on Rocas SS's corner, it was just that Guimarães FC's Amadeu Vidal managed to reach the ball for a save. Rocas SS's Germano Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Abreu in the 29th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 played minutes Rocas SS got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Offendahl. Adelino Veiga scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeu Vidal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Germano Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Fernandez in the 58th minute of the match. Adelino Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Rocas SS fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Rocas SS's Adelino Veiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sílvio Luiz Valle hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Germano Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Rocas SS got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Valle. When Guimarães FC's Sérgio Fernandez in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rocas SS's goalie prevented a goal. Wilfred de Vries kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Adelino Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Fontes got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ezequiel Abreu. 89 minutes into the game, Tales Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rocas SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guimarães FC the free kick. In the 89th minute, Tales Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Costa came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guimarães FC's Ezequiel Abreu. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rocas SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
