After a defensive mix-up in Yuriduarte's zone, Hermínio Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Tróia came out of the goal and Hermínio Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquinhos Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Aguiar in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Yuriduarte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Aleandro Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Custódio in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Yuriduarte getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Antônio Nóbrega hit a great ball. Nilmar Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleandro Urbano having to interfere. Didi Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Opa's Aleandro Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Custódio in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Custódio in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleandro Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Opa's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Rodrigues came free, but Aleandro Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Sá in the 25th minute of play forced Yuriduarte's goalkeeper Marquinhos Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marquinhos Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Laércio Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Marquinhos Tróia made a huge save. Yuriduarte's Gláuber Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gláuber Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Custódio in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleandro Urbano saved Opa from getting behind. Geovanni Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aleandro Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Rodrigues in the 44th minute of the match. Aleandro Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Rodrigues in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Custódio in the 45th minute of play forced Opa's goalkeeper Aleandro Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleandro Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Opa's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Custódio came free, but Aleandro Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Opa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yuriduarte were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aníbal Custódio to strike the kick off in the second half. Geovanni Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Aleandro Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yuriduarte. In the 56th minute, Geovanni Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aníbal Custódio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovanni Rodrigues who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Aleandro Urbano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Geovanni Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Yuriduarte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovanni Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. In the 64th match minute, Yuriduarte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match Alberto Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marquinhos Tróia skillfully saved the ball. Aníbal Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Aleandro Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovanni Rodriguess short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Aleandro Urbano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 74 minutes into the match, Aníbal Custódio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleandro Urbano. Opa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aníbal Custódio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Geovanni Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovanni Rodrigues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleandro Urbano having to make a save. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Opa's goalkeeper Aleandro Urbano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Aníbal Custódio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aleandro Urbano. That made the score 0-3 in the 83 minute of play. Marquinhos Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Gláuber Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleandro Urbano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After having played for 92 minutes, Aníbal Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yuriduarte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aníbal Custódio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aleandro Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Custódio in the 95th minute of play. Gláuber Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleandro Urbano having to interfere. Yuriduarte's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
