Raposas Azuis's Erik Ceresso got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Juvenal Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Raposas Azuis's Ronaldinho Moura tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Baptista hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Alberto Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Pereira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th match minute, Raposas Azuis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Moura to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Raposas Azuis's Benê Paes got a free kick in the 21st minute. Lucuri's Rodolfo Baptista couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Raposas Azuis. Alberto Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Pereira having to interfere. After some careless play in the Raposas Azuis defense, Telmo Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chicão Pereira. The Raposas Azuis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chicão Pereira should have stopped the shot. Benê Paes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Telmo Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benê Paes's late challenge caught a Lucuri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benê Paes helped the player get up and apologised. Benê Paes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Raposas Azuis's Chicão Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Sena in the 55th minute of play. If Alberto Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 73 in the game by Alberto Amaral from a close distance when the talented Chicão Pereira managed to make a qualified save. Raposas Azuis's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Raposas Azuis's Abelardo Dias got a free kick in the 80th minute. Alberto Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chicão Pereira came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Lucuri's Alberto Amaral. But to his dismay, Alberto Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Chicão Pereira made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alberto Amaral sent off a good shot on target. If Telmo Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
