Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luiz Paulo Ramos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th match minute, Os Espartanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Urbano to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Ronaldo Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Paulo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dênis Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luís Tande came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Piraguara SS's Agostinho das Neves. But to his dismay, Agostinho das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 18th minute Luiz Paulo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Bruninho Leme put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Luís Tande. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruninho Leme in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruninho Leme did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Pedro Luís Tande 24 minutes into the match. Agostinho das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Tande having to interfere. Pedro Luís Tande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Percival Matos in the 29th minute. Pedro Luís Tande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruninho Leme's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 35th match minute, Piraguara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Massa to maneuver through the defense. Conrado de Souza, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luiz Paulo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Os Espartanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Percival Matos struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pedro Luís Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piraguara SS. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruninho Leme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Luís Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Leme in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Os Espartanos's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Leme came free, but Pedro Luís Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Piraguara SS got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Diniz. Piraguara SS made a substitution. Fred Rossi replaced Percival Matos. The supporters of Os Espartanos booed when Piraguara SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luís Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Roger Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piraguara SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Luís Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luís Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruninho Leme went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Os Espartanos's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Leme came free, but Pedro Luís Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Leme in the 82nd minute of play forced Os Espartanos's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes, Bruninho Leme made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Os Espartanos's Pedro Luís Tande tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Leme in the 88th minute of play forced Os Espartanos's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Tande having to interfere. Pedro Luís Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
