When Juarês Catarinense got free in front of the goal in the 7th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Wanderson de Senna was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Petersen FC - FSCMZ's Luís Eduardo de Salles got a free kick in the 11th minute. Dênis Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Juarês Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Juarês Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CANELAS SECA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 played minutes Petersen FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Sabóia. In the 25th match minute, Petersen FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neymar Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Raimundo Linares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CANELAS SECA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petersen FC - FSCMZ the free kick. In the 25th minute, Raimundo Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wanderson de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Catarinense in the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Dênis Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. CANELAS SECA's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wanderson de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juarês Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wanderson de Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Dênis Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson de Senna having to interfere. Kauã Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Catarinense in the 45th minute of play forced Petersen FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Wanderson de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juarês Catarinense to strike the kick off in the second half. Juarês Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wanderson de Senna having to make a save. In the 58th minute Juarês Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes, Osmar Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Petersen FC - FSCMZ and the CANELAS SECA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Osmar Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juarês Catarinense showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. CANELAS SECA's Raimundo Linares got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Raimundo Linares off the ground. Raimundo Linares hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Flavinho de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petersen FC - FSCMZ's Nelsinho Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Juarês Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juarês Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Wanderson de Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CANELAS SECA. CANELAS SECA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
