Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aceme's Caio Brodel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Anderson de Amorim sped through Aceme's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Rocha. Ruy Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Chakais do Oeste's Zé Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruy Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Vargas in the 14th minute of play. 20 minutes in the game Hílton Matorin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gilvan Motta. Beto Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Almeida in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Gilvan Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anderson de Amorim got free with Manuel Rocha in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gilvan Motta fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aceme's protests and gave Gilvan Motta a yellow card for diving instead. Chakais do Oeste were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Aceme's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rui Paulista took the corner. Chakais do Oeste's Rui Paulista was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manuel Rocha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zé Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Anderson de Amorim succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 35th playminute. Chakais do Oeste's Ruy Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto Vargas in the 38th minute of play. Ruy Mota came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Aceme's Zé Augusto Vargas. But to his dismay, Zé Augusto Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 44 played minutes Chakais do Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Guga Brito. In the 47th minute of the match Gugu Coutinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruy Mota skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Manuel Rocha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zé Marquez made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Cosme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chakais do Oeste and the Aceme players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Carlos Eduardo Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruy Mota made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Zé Augusto Vargas sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Caio Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Zé Augusto Vargas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruy Mota, 2-2. Zé Augusto Vargas came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruy Mota could save by the left post. Aceme's Manuel Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson de Amorim in the 72nd minute of play. Chakais do Oeste's Zé Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Aceme's zone, Carlos Eduardo Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Rocha came out of the goal and Carlos Eduardo Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Cearense during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Júnior Cearense hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
