Luizão Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Clóvis Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Rafael Santana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Giga Mix F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Falcão de Senna in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luizão Sousa saved Giga Mix F.C from getting behind. Clóvis Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Luís Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Luís Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Belém Boys II:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Giga Mix F.C:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Clóvis Lucas made the kick off in the second half. Falcão de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Luizão Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Giga Mix F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Tande to maneuver through the defense. Luizão Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Falcão de Senna in the 57th minute. Natanael Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Medeiros in the 58th minute of play.
