An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Leite in the 10th minute of play forced Stunts Sport Club's goalkeeper Christian Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Raphael Leite notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stunts Sport Club's Christian Pontes. Christian Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Mattos in the 22nd minute of play. Denílson Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Nico Catarinense made a huge save. The supporters of Guayra booed when Stunts Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Mattos in the 32nd minute of play forced Stunts Sport Club's goalkeeper Christian Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Catarinense having to interfere. Genílson Rosado hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Christian Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Denílson Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stunts Sport Club! 47 minutes into the match, Osmar Mazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Pontes. Stunts Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osmar Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sydney Tasso made the kick off in the second half. Sydney Tasso took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nico Catarinense. Nico Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Nico Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Tasso in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stunts Sport Club's goalkeeper Christian Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Celso Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sydney Tasso struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Nico Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stunts Sport Club. Nico Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Tasso in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guayra's zone, Sydney Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Catarinense came out of the goal and Sydney Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Stunts Sport Club's Sydney Tasso in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guayra's goalie prevented a goal. Paulão Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Catarinense having to interfere. Guayra's Fred Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
