In the 11th minute, Walmyr Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulisses Cearense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 13 played minutes Vila Izabel Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Coutinho. Serafim Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Serafim Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Neiva in the 31st minute of the match. The excitement rose when Vila Izabel Futebol Clube's Bebeto Matos after 39 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Britanicos FC's goalkeeper to hold. Vila Izabel Futebol Clube's Serafim Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Izabel Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matías Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. Serafim Ferreira hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Walmyr Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila Izabel Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Walmyr Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Vila Izabel Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto de Castro came free, but Serafim Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafim Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vila Izabel Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
