The audience thought a goal was coming when Bendix Behnert got free with Eugênio Guerra in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Cascatinha United defense, Teobaldo Sayveon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugênio Guerra. The Cascatinha United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugênio Guerra should have stopped the shot. Fenix Flumed's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
