Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiago Gabriel Bertassi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zeca Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Tinoco having to interfere. When Júlio Fantini fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campinhas FC's protests and gave Júlio Fantini a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Taititu booed when Campinhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes, Giovani Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campinhas FC and the Taititu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Campinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Moura. João Vítor Madureira in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adrianinho Neiva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 20th minute, Taititu's João Vítor Madureira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 25 minutes, João Vítor Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taititu and the Campinhas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Campinhas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu de Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Novaes in the 37th minute of play forced Campinhas FC's goalkeeper Adrianinho Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Eliseu de Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campinhas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gonçalo Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Tiago Gabriel Bertassi sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th match minute, Taititu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Taititu's Gonçalo Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Almeida in the 66th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Cido Novaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campinhas FC's Adrianinho Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Vítor Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If João Vítor Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Taititu's João Vítor Madureira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrianinho Neiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Taititu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Campinhas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
