The supporters of Jacarecoara SS booed when Barradas Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Geovani Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barradas Club's protests and gave Geovani Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. 19 minutes into the game, Luizão Zanette was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barradas Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacarecoara SS the free kick. Luizão Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Cristian Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Luiz Gustavo Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gerson Valadares made a huge save. Cristian Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Hoffmann in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Jacarecoara SS's Célio Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barradas Club's Luizão Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerson Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Jacarecoara SS's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Sena came free, but Gerson Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Célio Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizão Zanette struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Gerson Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barradas Club. 79 minutes into the match, Barradas Club's Vitinho Sena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerson Valadares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Barradas Club got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Zanette. Sandro Hoffmanns short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Cristian Tepedino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Barradas Club's Cristian Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Barradas Club from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Jacarecoara SS's Célio Neiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barradas Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Jacarecoara SS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
