Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juninho de Almeida in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 88 played minutes E.C. Vitória da Conquista's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Macedo came free, but Joel Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of 09 de Julho booed when E.C.
