Alfredão Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Sidnei França made a huge save. Manoel Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manoel Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Mineiro having to interfere. Cheltenham Town FSCMZ's Tarcisio Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Quirino in the 59th minute of play. Cheltenham Town FSCMZ's Thiago de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Catolé FC's Kauan Cruz got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manoel Dante in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarcisio Mineiro saved Cheltenham Town FSCMZ from getting behind. 70 minutes into the game, Noel Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheltenham Town FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catolé FC the free kick. In the 70th minute, Noel Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cheltenham Town FSCMZ getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Silas Cruz hit a great ball. Tarcisio Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felippe Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Cheltenham Town FSCMZ booed when Catolé FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Amauri Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Catolé FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amauri Quirino couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Catolé FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
