Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) SKT T1's Doni Vaz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aníbal Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernani das Neves in the 4th minute. When Simão Mattos fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canada Goose F.C.'s protests and gave Simão Mattos a yellow card for diving instead. Simão Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Claudinho Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Vaz in the 10th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernani das Neves to make the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Leonel Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinho Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Claudinho Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Canada Goose F.C. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing SKT T1 to win.
