An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Teles in the 19th minute of play forced Manino's goalkeeper Duda Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SÂO BERNArDO FC's Walmyr Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tales Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Duda Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Arlindo Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlindo Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Severino Couto came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Manino fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that Walmyr Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duda Arósio was relentless in the 70th minute of the game.
