Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredinho Guimarães took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Oswaldo Recife sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Durvalino Ferraz skillfully saved the ball. Limoeiro's Gino de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hortêncio Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Prata having to interfere. Ediberto dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes Camacandi SC got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Jacinto. Durvalino Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto dos Santos in the 20th minute of the match. Camacandi SC's Durvalino Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto dos Santos in the 22nd minute of play. When Alexandre Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Limoeiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Araújo couldn't finish the play. Alfredinho Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Prata having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Camacandi SC's Alfredinho Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Prata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raí Hermes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Durvalino Ferraz. Camacandi SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ediberto dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfredinho Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Alfredinho Guimarães took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Juan Prata to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Camacandi SC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Manoel Loyola hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ediberto dos Santos made the kick off in the second half. If Hortêncio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gino de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ediberto dos Santos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Durvalino Ferraz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Manfredo Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manfredo Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 79 minutes into the match, Camacandi SC's goalkeeper Durvalino Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ediberto dos Santos. Durvalino Ferraz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ediberto dos Santos went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 93rd match minute, Camacandi SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. Hortêncio Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
