Marcos Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ibicua AD getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Celsinho Santos hit a great ball. Osvaldo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Guerra having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Caldeira FC's Ronaldo Moura got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A hard shot 34 in the game by Douglas Mello from a close distance when the talented Amadeu Guerra managed to make a qualified save. Caldeira FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Ibicua AD getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cleiton Paraíba hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Moura in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Freire saved Ibicua AD from getting behind. The supporters of Caldeira FC booed when Ibicua AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Matheus do Vale made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Matheus do Vale lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Marcos Freire. Cleiton Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleiton Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robinho Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Freire having to interfere. Matheus do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Marcos Freire made a huge save. Egídio Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Marcos Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldeira FC. Ibicua AD's Marcos Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Moura in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Caldeira FC's Matheus do Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleiton Paraíba in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Gustavo Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ibicua AD's Luiz Gustavo Cunha got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Caldeira FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Caldeira FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
