The shot was a little too simple and Hernani Freire could save by the left post. Cássio da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Olaria A.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cleiton Rossi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 8th play minute Cleiton Rossi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hernani Freire. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Veneto's Cleiton Rossi got a free kick in the 18th minute. Olaria A.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marquinhos de Moraes 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Hernani Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos de Moraes in the 28th minute of the match. Marquinhos de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Freire having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Gilmar Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleiton Rossi got free with Hernani Freire in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yan Arruda's late challenge caught a Veneto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yan Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. Yan Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Yan Arruda was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 47 played minutes Olaria A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Yan Arruda. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Olaria A.C.'s zone, Marquinhos de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Freire came out of the goal and Marquinhos de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquinhos de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Olaria A.C.'s Gernando Neto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gernando Neto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Olaria A.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gernando Neto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 78th minute, one of Olaria A.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olaria A.C.. The referee gave Veneto a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cleiton Rossi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olaria A.C.'s Hernani Freire. 5-0. In the 87th minute, Marquinhos de Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Hernani Freire. Olaria A.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Marquinhos de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hernani Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cleiton Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veneto's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleiton Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cássio da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olaria A.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty!
